i.                     Realize self-interest

ii.                   Garner a good understanding of the change initiative

iii.                  Be enthusiastic to represent the change within the institution

iv.                 Generate enthusiasm for work and change

v.                   Apply normative pressure - Motivate others to be part of the change because you are.

vi.                 Give assurance of two necessary conditions: security and satisfaction

vii.                Foster an environment in your niche where everyone can improve his/her last year’s performance appraisal results.

viii.              Align colleagues self-interest  and institution’s interest

ix.                 Drive self-directed change


x.                   Obtain feedback from the faculty/staff/students
